Most Frameo frames come with a micro USB port, although some might have a mini USB or USB-A port instead.
USB Cable
It is not possible to transfer photos to the frame using a USB cable.
The USB port on the back of the frame is used by the manufacturer when producing the frame (e.g. to install the Frameo software on the frame).
If you possess advanced technical knowledge of the Android Debug Bridge (ADB), however, you might benefit from taking a look at the article How to Enable ADB on Your Frame. Please note that Frameo is not able to provide support on ADB access.
USB Flash Drive
Select brands make it possible to use a USB flash drive (i.e. USB thumb drive) to import photos to the frame. This is not the case on all frames, and is unfortunately not decided by Frameo, but instead by the brand who has made your frame.
If your frame does support the use of a USB flash drive, it might have certain requirements to the specifications of the USB flash drive (e.g. size and format). Furthermore, you might need an adapter to fit the flash drive in the frame.
At Frameo we are unfortunately unable to provide guidance on this, and we're not able to tell whether a frame is compatible with a USB flash drive.
If you want to learn more, we suggest that you get in touch with the brand who has made your frame and ask them for further details. The name of the brand is usually written on the back of the frame, on the box or in the order confirmation.
