Your frame has a built-in sleep mode feature, which turns off the display at a set time and turns it back on again at another set time. This will save power, and your frame will still be able to receive new photos during its time 'asleep'.
In mid-December 2022, we started releasing Frameo v1.13.3, in which sleep mode has been improved even more. You can now set different sleep schedules for different days, and you can even set multiple schedules on the same day to save even more power.
Set the Sleep Mode
To adjust the sleep mode, simply go to
Simply tap the timetamps to adjust them, and tap the days of the week to toggle the schedule on or off for those particular days.
Add a New Schedule
Adding new schedules can be particularly useful in case you want to set different schedules on different days. Perhaps you wake up a little later than usual on Saturdays and Sundays - and that's perfectly fine, too!
You can tap the button in the top-right corner to add a new schedule. Simply adjust the interval to whatever you prefer, and remember to toggle the days, too.
Here's an example of frame, which wakes up at 7:00 AM and goes to sleep at 11:00 PM Monday to Friday.
On Saturday and Sunday, however, the frame wakes up at 8:30 AM and goes to sleep at 11:30 PM.
Putting Frame to Sleep Manually
You can always put your frame to sleep manually at any point during its time awake. Perhaps you're going shopping or visiting someone and won't be looking at the frame anyway. Fear not!
- Tap the screen to open the menu
- Tap the Power button
- Tap Sleep to put the frame to sleep
To wake the frame back up again, simply press the power button on the back/side of the frame once. On some frames, it's also possible to wake the frame by double-tapping the screen.
Tip: The power button on the back/side of the frame can also be used to put the frame to sleep manually on most frames. Simply press it once!
