A frame must be returned/replaced in accordance with the seller's return and refund policy. The seller knows exactly what options you have, and they will be able to inform you about the warranty as well.
Frameo is not involved in the replacement process at all, as we only make the software that runs on the frame. We do not make nor sell frames.
My Frame Was a Gift
If you do not know where the frame was purchased, the only way to proceed is to contact the person who gave you the gift.
At Frameo we do unfortunately not have any way to access information about the seller.
The Warranty Has Expired
While we understand that it can be frustrating, we're still unable to help even though we wish we could.
Frameo is simply not involved in the warranty. It's purely up to the seller and is completely out of our hands.
Why Can’t Frameo Replace My Frame?
While our software is an essential component that allows you to enjoy your frame, we do not make nor sell frames. We only develop the software that runs on the frame, as well as the mobile app that enables you to send photos from your phone to your frame.
We have no shop, no warehouse, no factory and no stock of frames.
The warranty, return, and replacement policy for your frame is entirely up to the seller (and in a few cases the brand behind the frame).
If it seems confusing, it might help to compare our role to that of Microsoft and how they provide the Windows operating system for various different laptop brands worldwide. While Microsoft may provide the software for your laptop, it is entirely up to the seller of your laptop (or perhaps the individual laptop brands in some cases) to manage returns and replacements.
The same applies to Frameo - we only provide the software, which is just one of the many components that constitute a digital photo frame.
